This is why I want more scenes with Jackson and Danny. Because not only does Danny bring out a different side of Jackson, but he’s one of the only people who doesn’t take Jackson’s shit. He doesn’t let Jackson use his money or social status or influence to get what he wants. If Jackson acts like an ass, then Danny acts like an ass right back.

Jackson needs that. He needs someone who sees him for who he is, not what he owns, and not the insults that he throws. Jackson needs someone who will stand by him regardless of what a raging douche he can be sometimes. 

And the fact that Danny, someone who is loved by everyone, is willing to accept and be loyal to Jackson, someone who inspires more hatred than love? I think that proves that there’s more to Jackson than meets the eye. There’s something worthwhile there. There’s someone deserving of love.

I hope that Danny has a big part to play in Jackson’s storyline this season, and in a storyline of his own.
